An address type is assigned to each recipient during message tracking file import: Internal, Internet, Unidentified local address, Others. This notion is used in most traffic reports to segment the email traffic.
The Favorites menu contains, by default, about 30 custom reports delivered with the package by PROMODAG. These custom reports can be renamed, modified, deleted and replaced by your own custom reports.
The PROMODAG account is the service account that is used to start PROMODAG Reports. Creating a dedicated account is not compulsory, but it is recommended.
The PROMODAG workstation is the computer on which PROMODAG Reports is installed. This computer can run any supported version of Microsoft Windows, but it must not be an Exchange server.
A report template is used to create custom reports through a combination of options, for example a given reporting period, a specific selection of recipients, specific filters and a particular output.
Report templates can either be accessed on the Templates menu, or through the Report Explorer.
This is the number of recipients as they appear in the 'To', 'Cc' and 'Bcc' lines, without resolving distribution groups (if any).
Example: For a message sent to the 'All Users' distribution group, the unresolved recipient count would be: 1 recipient (= 1 group). But the actual recipient count, after the group has been resolved to each member of the group, would be several hundred or thousand individual recipients.
