What is the impact on Exchange server performance ?

All report templates apart from those grouped into the Storage, Organization Overview, Mailbox Content, Public Folder Content and Billing categories, use the content of the database. Running most reports does not have any impact on the Exchange server performance.

• Templates from the Storage and Billing categories do dynamically retrieve information from the Exchange server, using PowerShell; however, they collect information in read-only mode.
• The Mailbox Content and Public Folder Content report templates open the selected mailbox one by one, as would an Outlook user do. This method has no impact on server performance either.

Promodag Reports acts as an Outlook client accessing the directory when it imports its content using LDAP.
