Admin Consent Required

Explanation

This message appears if the Promodag Reports app created in in Microsoft Entra ID has not yet been granted the required permissions to interact with Exchange Online. Admin consent is required when an app needs access to certain high-privilege permissions. It ensures that administrators have some additional controls before authorizing apps or users to access highly privileged data from the organization.

Procedure

Click on the link provided at the bottom of the message to initiate the authorization process.

• Sign in using a Global Administrator account when prompted.
• When the Permissions requested Review for your organization window appears, click Accept.

The permissions to be granted are listed in the "Permissions requested Review for your organization" message and differ depending on the authentication mode chosen in Tools > Options, Office 365 Configuration tab.

• Certificate-based authentication: The Promodag Reports app runs without a signed-in user present.

• User-based authentication: The app is delegated with the permission to act as a signed-in user when it makes calls to the target resource.

How to revoke this authorization

To revoke this authorization, follow these steps:

• Sign in to the Azure portal as an administrator.

• Under Manage Microsoft Entra ID, click View.

• On the Overview page that opens, under Manage, select Enterprise applications.

• In the application list, click Promodag Reports.
• In Manage, click Properties.
• Click Delete to remove Promodag Reports from the Enterprise applications list.
