Use the EWS Connection tab to configure an access to Exchange Server.Promodag Reportsrequires a connection to the Exchange system to dynamically retrieve the information it needs in order to produce reports on mailbox and public folder content. For more information about the required permissions, see Creating a Promodag account for an On-Premises environment.

  Description
E-Mail Email address of an account whose mailbox is hosted on Exchange 2010/2013/2016/2019 and that has sufficient permissions to run reports on mailbox and public folder content. This address will be used to determine the Service URL for EWS.
Click this button to automatically retrieve the email address of the current login account.
Service URL The default URL for EWS is usually in the format https://mail.domain.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx, however that may not work for every Exchange Server. You can manually modify it in this field if necessary. If you do not know this URL, open the Exchange Management Shell on the Exchange server and type this command: Get-WebServicesVirtualDirectory |Select name, *url* | fl
Detect Service URL Click this link to detect the Service URL for EWS.
Current account Check this radio button to use the credentials of the current account if you use the email address that is linked to it.
Specific account If you use another email address, check this radio button to use the credentials of the user account that is linked to it.
Check connection Click this link to test the EWS connection.
Check configuration Click this link to test your configuration in one click.
