Testing reports

You may want to quickly modify some options before saving a custom report, or testing the custom report you have just created before adding it to a batch file, or test the batch file before scheduling it.

Reloading your options

On the File menu, click Reload Report or click the icon in the Report Toolbar. This feature lets you reload all the options of the report currently displayed on screen.

You can use it while setting up a new custom report; once you are entirely satisfied with the result, change the output and save a new report option file.

Running several reports simultaneously

On the Tools menu, click Run a Group of Reports. This feature lets you manually start several custom reports at the same time.

Testing several reports

For example, you can use the Run a Group of Reports option to test all the custom reports delivered as samples with the application and available in the Favorites menu.

For more information about these sample reports, see How to find your way?

Testing the content of an entire batch file

You can also use that option to load and run an entire batch file in order to test it before committing it to production.
