Migration Wizard

The Migration Wizard helps you migrate par or all of an existing v.11 or v.12 configuration to v.14:

 

The first screen announces the detection of a previous v.11 or v.12 installation on the computer. Promodag Reports must be run as administrator to be able to create or modify scheduled tasks. Click Restart as administrator.

 

The second one invites you to migrate your previous configuration. Click Migrate.


The last screen allows you to choose the items that need to be copied into the directory of version 14 and adapted to the new version. Click Process now.

 

Option Description
Retrieve the main configuration file Copy the configuration file (.pri extension) with all the paths, usernames and encrypted passwords, server settings (recommended).
Choice of configuration files to be recovered
  • All files: Copy the entire content of the common program settings folder of Promodag Reports v.11 or v.12 (recommended).
  • Only the files referenced by a scheduled task: Only copy the batch files, report options files and custom selections linked to a converted scheduled task.
Migrate the v.X scheduled tasks and then... Create new scheduled tasks based on the existing v.11/v.12 tasks. You can automatically disable (recommended), delete or keep them.
