What does the configuration file contain?

Promodag Reports stores important settings information in a configuration file whose default name is Repex.pri. This file is automatically saved while the application is closed.

The configuration file contains, among other pieces of information:

All passwords are encrypted using 3DES.

Note: It is possible to manage several databases using different parameter sets, see Using several configuration files.

How do I see my file extensions?

To see your file extensions, hold the Windows key and press R to bring up the Run... dialogue, then type "control.exe folders" and press "OK". This will open the Folder Options window.

In the Folder Options window, select the View tab and then uncheck Hide extensions for known file types.
