Importing directory with additional attributes

You can decide to import the directory without additional attributes in order to keep your database smaller. In that configuration only limited recipient attributes are available for reports.

To check if this is the case, double-click a mailbox in the PROMODAG organization tree. If you can only see the email addresses tab, then additional attributes have not been imported.

Enabling or disabling additional attributes for a particular domain

Importing the directory with additional attributes is enabled at the domain level.

To import the directory with additional attributes:

1. Click the domain in the organization tree;
2. At the bottom of the screen check the Import directory additional attributes box.
3. You need to repeat this procedure for each domain.
4. To start directory import, use File > Import Directory Data , then click on Full re-import.

Enabling or disabling additional attributes for a particular type of recipients

By default, Promodag Reports imports both mandatory and additional attributes for all types of recipients: Mailbox, Contact, Distribution group, Public folder. This behavior can be modified in the Advanced tab of Tools > Options.
