Batch file: Import IIS Data

Introduction

Select this action to automatically collect events from IIS log files.

The IIS data source is used to produce reports on OWA and ActiveSync activity.

Interface description

Select servers

Option Description
Process pre-selected servers for import Use this option to implicitly select the Exchange servers you have already selected in the Import Message Tracking Data, Import IIS Data or Import Storage Size Data options on the File menu.
Select servers to process Use this option to select specific Exchange servers.

Select a date range

Option Description
Import from
  • The last import: Data will be imported from the last import date onwards.
  • A fixed date: Select a fixed date in the calendar.
  • Server default date: Data will be imported from the 'Next import date' set for each server, see Server Properties.
  • First day of the month: Data will be imported from the first day of the current month.
  • Days before schedule: Enter a value ('n'). Data will be imported n days before the day when this batch is scheduled to run.
Import to
  • A fixed date: Select a fixed date in the calendar.
  • Yesterday: Data will be imported until yesterday.
  • Today: Data will be imported until today.
  • Number of days to import: Enter a value ('n'). Data will be imported from the date set in 'Import from' plus n days.
