Batch file action: Import Storage Size Data

Introduction

Select this action is to collect storage size data.

Mailbox size, Mailbox folder size, Public folder size and Exchange database size are the data sources used to produce reports from the Templates > Storage menu.

 

Interface description

Select servers

Option Description
Process pre-selected servers for import Use this option to implicitly select the Exchange servers you have already selected in the Import Message Tracking Data, Import IIS Data or Import Storage Size Data options on the File menu.
Select servers to process Use this option to select specific Exchange servers.

Select storage size data to import

Storage size data Description
Public folder size Import the size and item count of public folders hosted on the selected servers.
Mailbox size Import the size and number of items contained in mailboxes located on the selected servers, or in Office 365.
Mailbox folder size Import the size of mailbox folders for mailboxes hosted on the selected servers.
Mailbox count per database Import the number of mailboxes hosted on the selected servers.
Database size Import the size of Exchange databases (.edb files and transaction log files) found on the selected servers.
