Use the File > Export Report option or the icon to export the active report to one of the following destinations: Disk file, Email recipient, Exchange folder, Sharepoint.
You can choose among the following destinations:
Destination | Description |

Screen | The report is displayed on screen. |
Exploring form | The report is displayed on screen as an hierarchical and interactive form. It can then be exported as a CSV file. This option is only available in some specific reports. |
Printer | The report is sent to the printer of your choice. |
File | The report is saved to a local or a network drive. |
Email recipient | The report is sent as a message attachment to the selected recipients. It is possible to create custom message templates. |
Exchange folder | The report is posted as an attachment in a public or private Exchange folder. |
SharePoint | The report is published into a SharePoint document library. Note: In SharePoint, file and folder names are limited to 128 characters. Additionally, the complete URL to the file cannot contain more than 260 characters. |
Database table | The report is exported into a SQL database table. The database can be defined in Options: Export tab. An export can be appended to an existing one - as long as the report and the options are the same. It is also possible to select the fields to be exported, see Choose Fields to Export. |
You must specify a location. Like for the file name, it is possible to enter a date in the Location field. The folder will be created if it does not already exist. The default export location can be configured in the General tab of Tools > Options.
You must specify a document library. The default SharePoint export options can be configured in the Export tab of Tools > Options: SharePoint server (compulsory), document library (optional, can be configured at report level), credentials.
The default SQL database is the one that is currently used. This export option can be configured at application level in the Export tab of Tools > Options: Server name, database name, credentials.
The following file formats are available:

CSV (Coma Separated Value text) | csv | Use this format to import files into Excel. It is particularly easy to handle, for instance in Excel pivot tables. It is possible to select the fields to be exported, see Choose Fields to Export. |
Portable Doc Format | Use this format to send reports to an e-mail recipient. | |
Excel 2000-2003 | xls | The XLS export format is the default file format for the 2003 version of Excel and older. It is a proprietary binary format. The size of an XLS worksheet is limited to 65,536 rows. |
Excel 2007 | xlsx | The XLS export format is the default file format for versions of Excel since 2007. It is based on Office Open XML format. The size of an XLS worksheet is limited to 1,048,576 rows. |
Rich Text | rtf | This file format can be read using most word processing software. |
HTML | htm | Use this format to export reports to your Intranet. |
Web Archive | mht | Web page archive format used to combine resources that are typically represented by external links, such as images, together with HTML code into a single file. |
Print Document | prnx | Use this format to export reports to the \Saved Reports folder. You will be able to view them by using the My Snapshots menu. For more information about the \Saved Reports location, see Default paths for installation and settings. |
You must enter a valid file name for the report you wish to output or export.

Click this button to insert the name of the grouping attribute selected in the Group tab into the file name. For example, selecting Department and the Separate report check box in the Group tab and then using the Grp button will generate one report per department; each separate report will only contain items related to one department; the file name will also contain the name of the department (e.g. General Mailbox Traffic for Sales.pdf, General Mailbox Traffic for Finance.pdf etc.). Note: This button is only active when the Separate report radio button is selected in the Group tab. |
